Illinois Concealed Carry

Using the exceptional USCCA training material, you receive professionally produced curriculum to provide the most thorough education you can find.

Non-Illinois residents are welcome to take this course, as it is the outstanding Concealed Carry curriculum. But a valid Illinois address is necessary to apply for a state license.

Course includes the 270-page USCCA textbook Concealed Carry and Home Defense Fundamentals by author Michael Martin.

The Illinois CCL class will bring to you all of the same topics as covered in the core Concealed Carry class.

The following areas, mandated by the Illinois State Police, are addressed:

  • Firearm safety
  • Basic principles of marksmanship
  • Care, cleaning, loading, and unloading of a concealed firearm
  • All applicable State and Federal laws relating to the ownership, storage, carry, and transportation of a firearm
  • Weapon handling

At the conclusion of your training, and successful completion of the shooting qualification, you will receive the appropriate documentation necessary to complete your application with the State of Illinois.
